Our braids are used in a variety of applications ranging from automobile side impact airbags to jet engine stator vanes and from hockey sticks to prosthetics. Current R&D programs involve the use of braid in structures of unprecedented scale, such as fan cases, rocket nozzles and commercial transport airframes.

A&P Technology’s success has created the need for a Manufacturing Operations Manager. The Manufacturing Operations Manager will be responsible for maintaining efficient and consistent manufacturing operations across all production areas, shifts and buildings. They will manage a team of managers to ensure safety, schedules, quality and efficiency are maintained while resolving any roadblocks that may impede the team’s manufacturing goals.

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure efficient production through providing solutions, planning, rate monitoring, and coordination
2. Propel innovation and excellence in manufacturing methods
3. Represent a balanced, customer centric, quality focused, service-to-others mindset
4. Provide accountability and ownership for manufacturing group
5. Analyze production data to guide headcount requirements and equipment investments
6. Coordinate with multiple shift managers to ensure seamless flow of projects on all shifts
7. Collaborate with leadership team to provide operational status and challenges

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in STEM field
2. 8+ Years manufacturing operations experience
3. 5+ Years manager experience
4. Experience with lean manufacturing and data analytics
5. Excellent communication and organizational skills
6. Strong troubleshooting experience with a passion for problem solving
7. Self-motivated, dedicated, and authentic personality willing to work in fast paced, dynamic environment
