Job summary

PROENERGY is seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager to lead operational excellence initiatives in our Sedalia, Missouri manufacturing footprint. You will drive Lean and Six Sigma programs, optimize processes, and push for measurable efficiency gains across production and supply chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• 10+ years of manufacturing operations experience, with 5+ years in a leadership role driving continuous improvement.
• Direct experience in manufacturing precision parts and assemblies.
• Strong understanding of VSM, Kaizen, TPM, and daily management systems.
• Demonstrated change leadership with measurable operational gains.
• US work authorization; willingness to undergo pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage the organization’s CI program at site and value-stream level.
• Lead Lean, Six Sigma, and other process-improvement initiatives.
• Standardize manufacturing, services, and supply chain processes; document standard work.
• Support the D365 ERP implementation from the process side and drive post-go-live stabilization.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, quality, and maintenance.
• Establish and monitor KPIs for hard savings, cycle-time, and WIP reduction.
• Run the daily management system and coach leaders through accountability meetings.
• Mentor and train staff on CI tools and problem-solving methodologies.
• Drive cultural change toward continuous learning and innovation.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective action with structured problem solving.
• Manage resources and ROI for CI projects; stay current with industry trends.
