Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
• 3+ years of supervisory or manufacturing leadership experience.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
• Experience leading Lean events and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong systems management and process improvement background.
• Experience collaborating with HR and leadership teams.
• Ability to coach, mentor and develop supervisors and employees.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage the supervisors of the APU site and oversee all assembly operations.
• Lead production and operations to improve machine downtime, schedules, quality, and on-time delivery.
• Make operational decisions and determine manpower requirements.
• Participate in staffing decisions and performance management.
• Promote communication and motivation to achieve production goals.
• Lead Lean events and drive cost reduction and safety initiatives.
