Job summary

Solesis is seeking an Operations Manager to lead manufacturing operations for Medical Component and Technical Textile sectors. The role supervises operations supervisors, engineers, and group leads to ensure high performance, quality, and on-time delivery aligned with strategic objectives.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in regulated manufacturing, implements process improvements, and collaborates with engineering and quality teams to resolve manufacturing and quality issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline, operations management, or industrial engineering.
• 5 years of experience in a similar role within a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with ability to coach and mentor staff.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and ISO 13485, GMP practices.
• Ability to follow and update WI’s and SOP’s; high mathematical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Plans, manages, and supervises operations functions across Medical Component and Technical Textile manufacturing.
• Ensures on-time delivery and resources utilization to meet customer needs.
• Implements policies to maximize output and improve processes.
• Monitors adherence to regulations to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual goals.
• Collaborates with leadership, quality, and product development engineering to drive improvements.
• Manages staffing, hiring processes, and coaching for career development.
• Works with finance on budgeting, capital expenditures, and cost control.
