Job summary

Baxter is seeking a seasoned manufacturing leader to oversee the Penicillin building's operations, driving safety, quality, service, and cost improvements. You will manage staffing, budgets, and KPIs while ensuring strict cGMP and regulatory compliance across plant functions.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, mentorship of supervisors, and continuous improvement initiatives. A Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of ops experience, including 3+ years in supervision, are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years manufacturing/operations experience including a minimum of 3 years supervisory experience.
• Green or Black Belt certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily manufacturing operations within the Penicillin building.
• Ensures staffing, budgets, costs, methods, and KPIs meet targets.
• Leads process improvements and kaizens.
• Manages direct reports and provides performance feedback.
• Ensures adherence to cGMPs, SOPs, EHS, and regulatory guidelines.
• Interfaces with other managers and customers to meet quality commitments.
• Participates in audits as subject matter expert.
• Develops and manages annual operating budget and long-range plans.
