Job summary

Oldcastle APG is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a dry mix plant in Marble Falls, TX. You will drive operational excellence, ensure safety and quality, and guide a high-performing production team.

Ideal candidates bring lean manufacturing expertise and a passion for continuous improvement to support long-term goals. The role is onsite in Marble Falls, with responsibility for scheduling, KPI monitoring, root-cause analysis, and team development, all while upholding OSHA standards and safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years in related industry
• 3+ years in manufacturing management
• Proven leadership for diverse teams
• Knowledge of lean, Six Sigma, and process improvement
• ERP systems familiarity; SAP preferred
• Excellent communication and problem-solving
• OSHA knowledge; OSHA 30 or willingness to obtain within 6 months

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily plant operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and product quality
• Plan and manage production schedules, work assignments, and resource allocation
• Monitor KPIs and use dashboards to identify gaps and drive improvements
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Develop production supervisors and frontline teams
• Promote safety-first culture and OSHA compliance
• Conduct safety audits and implement corrective actions
• Drive lean manufacturing and cost-reduction initiatives
• Evaluate new technologies to enhance efficiency
• Collaborate with site leadership on long-term manufacturing strategy
• Enter safety data into Oldcastle programs
