Job summary

Diageo in Montgomery, Alabama is seeking an Operations Team Leader to oversee multiple bottling lines and a large production floor. You will directly manage 15 to 25 operators and mechanics across lines, ensuring safety, quality and throughput.

The role requires a 4-year engineering degree and experience in high-speed bottling/warehousing with GMPs, plus a track record of driving improvements and cost efficiencies in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day production across multiple lines, ensuring safety, quality, staffing, and budget goals.
• Provide leadership to meet Manufacturing Excellence metrics and drive performance.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Manufacturing Excellence tools and techniques.
• Optimize efficiency and reduce labor costs while maintaining throughput.
• Manage planning and implementation of key bottling/warehousing initiatives.
• Ensure GMP and food safety audits are supported and corrective actions completed.
