Job summary

Mazzella seeks a Production Manager to ensure the department's manufacturing objectives are achieved safely, on time, and cost-effectively. The role leads operations through servant leadership and aligns with NTM Core Values, focusing on quality and delivery in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include establishing build schedules, overseeing daily production, training staff, ensuring documentation, and coordinating with Shipping and Stockroom teams.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of production management or supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to identify bottlenecks and implement solutions.
• Experience with budgets, forecasting, and performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Establish build schedules and production goals with Plant Manager.
• Coordinate daily production activities, headcount, training, and cross-training.
• Ensure quality standards are met and proper documentation retained.
• Schedule and coordinate materials, tooling, and inventory with stockroom personnel and buyers.
• Maintain safe work practices and monitor compliance; address unsafe conditions promptly.
• Coordinate outbound/inbound shipments with Shipping Manager and ensure proper packaging and loading of products.
• Develop and report KPIs and provide coaching to improve department performance.
• Identify and remove roadblocks to achieve department excellence.
