Job summary

AGI - Ag Growth International is seeking a General Manager of Manufacturing Operations in Marshall, IL. This role owns full site accountability across operations, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, delivery, and cost, while leading a high-performance team and coordinating with engineering and inside sales to meet demand and capacity.

The candidate will drive productivity through standard hours and labor efficiency, manage budgets and forecasts, and translate improvements into EBITDA

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing operations.
• Proven experience managing a full P&L.
• Background in industrial equipment, agriculture, or heavy manufacturing preferred.
• Experience overseeing engineering and commercial (inside sales/customer service) functions is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead all site operations with a structured operating system and standard work.
• Drive daily execution through defined metrics, cadence, and escalation.
• Ensure on time delivery through schedule adherence and capacity alignment.
• Maintain strict focus on safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Establish leadership presence on the floor with routine engagement and accountability.
