Job summary

Greenlee Diamond Tool in Elk Grove Village, IL seeks a General Manager to provide leadership and strategic direction for a manufacturing firm. This role oversees P&L, sales, engineering and operations, and drives Lean Six Sigma initiatives to improve safety, quality and productivity.

You will align all departments with corporate objectives, mentor a high‑performing team, and manage budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 8–10 years of progressive leadership in manufacturing with P&L responsibility.
• Proven track record in sales leadership and business growth.
• Strong background in operations, engineering, and process improvement (Lean/Six Sigma).
• Strategic thinking, business acumen, and financial expertise.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and driving cultural change.
• Ability to travel up to 50% (including Canada and Mexico).
