Caterpillar is seeking a Director of Manufacturing Operations in Brooklyn Park, MN. This senior leader will own end-to-end site accountability for safety, quality, velocity, cost, people development, maintenance, and supply chain across a 400k sq ft operation.

Responsibilities include leading manufacturing, engineering, and logistics functions, driving continuous improvement, and developing high-performing teams to achieve customer commitments and strategic growth.

• Lean/continuous improvement experience and results.
• Strong safety, quality, and regulatory leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of plant operations including manufacturing, maintenance, engineering, quality, supply chain, warehousing, and distribution.
• Establish and sustain a world-class safety culture with regulatory compliance.
• Drive performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost, inventory, and productivity metrics.
• Lead Lean/continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, efficiency, quality, and asset utilization.
• Oversee production planning and execution to meet demand and delivery commitments.
• Develop and improve manufacturing processes, operating systems, and plant infrastructure.
• Partner with engineering, quality, supply chain, and business leaders on new product introductions and growth.
• Build high-performing teams through talent acquisition, coaching, and succession planning.
• Use data and root-cause analysis to drive sustainable improvements.
• Drive disciplined execution and strategic initiatives to strengthen competitiveness.
