Job summary

Sanmina Corporation is seeking a Director, Operations to lead production, manufacturing engineering, quality and supply chain from planning to shipment. You will drive process improvements and coordinate with site leadership to ensure on-time delivery and cost effectiveness.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering, 10+ years in regulated manufacturing, and 5+ years of people management, with Lean/Six Sigma and ERP experience to optimize performance and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required, Mechanical, Industrial or Mfg Engineering preferred.
• 10+ years of Engineering or Management experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• 5+ years of direct people management.
• Knowledge of lean principles (Green or Black belt certification a plus).
• Experience leading diverse teams and strong communication skills.
• Experience with Manufacturing Operations, P&L centers, and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Handle complex projects such as an entire customer transfer including supply chain, qualification, test and scheduling.
• Identify root causes affecting plants; address throughput and yield issues.
• Calculate industrialization estimates for quoting complex jobs.
• Deploy and track new programs in North America with plant leadership on process and resources.
• Balance service to cost and profitability; ensure material availability and inventory control.
• Coordinate with finance on inventory carrying costs and monitor performance.
