Job summary

Topre America Corporation is seeking a New Hire Trainer to support onboarding, training, and development of new associates at our Smyrna, TN manufacturing facility.

The role will conduct classroom and hands-on training for temporary and full-time hires, covering Safety, Quality, Production Processes, and Delivery, and administering assessments. Strong communication and the ability to train groups are essential, with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

Topre America Corporation is seeking a New Hire Trainer to support the onboarding, training, and development of new associates at our Smyrna, TN manufacturing facility.

** The ability to speak a second language is a plus, including Spanish, Burmese, or other languages represented within our workforce.**

What You'll Do

• Conduct classroom and hands-on training for new temporary and full-time associates.
• Help new hires become familiar with Topre's workplace, manufacturing environment, policies, and expectations.
• Provide training related to Safety, Quality, Production Processes, and Delivery.
• Administer required tests and assessments.
• Evaluate new hires throughout and at the completion of their training period.
• Provide refresher training and assessments for current associates as needed.
• Assist with developing and updating safety and process procedures.
• Work with the Training Supervisor and Training Team to update training materials and curriculum.
• Provide hands-on instruction and coaching on the manufacturing floor.

What We're Looking For

• Experience in a manufacturing, assembly, production, or warehouse environment.
• Ability to speak a second language is a plus.
• Strong verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Comfortable speaking and presenting in front of groups.
• Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage training responsibilities effectively.
• Must be available to work any shift and overtime as required by production needs.

Physical Requirements

This position requires a combination of classroom instruction and work on the manufacturing floor. Depending on the assignment, the Trainer may be required to stand and walk for extended periods and lift, carry, or move up to ** 35 pounds.**

The position also requires sufficient hand-eye coordination, dexterity, and visual ability to operate equipment, use a computer, and read training and technical materials.
