SPIROL is seeking a Manufacturing / Mechanical Engineering Intern for Spring 2027 in Stow, Ohio. This internship offers real-world experience in a leading global manufacturer known for its innovation and excellence.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Familiar with AutoCAD and 3D CAD modeling.
• Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong work ethic, initiative, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate existing procedures and production methods.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Perform time studies to support production standards.
• Assist with process and equipment implementation.
• Support process development and documentation.
• Develop procedures and checklists.
• Research technologies to improve operations.
• Collaborate with plant personnel and contractors.
• Gain hands-on experience in manufacturing.

Manufacturing / Mechanical Engineering Intern - Spring 2027

January through May 2027

100% On Site | Stow, Ohio

This internship provides hands on experience working alongside engineering and manufacturing professionals while contributing to meaningful projects that impact daily operations.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate existing procedures and production methods for improvement opportunities
• Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives and engineering projects
• Perform time studies to support production and item creation standards
• Assist with new or upgraded process and equipment implementation projects
• Support process development, improvement, and documentation efforts
• Develop procedures, forms, checklists, and schedules to support manufacturing activities
• Research new technologies, equipment, and supplies to improve operations
• Collaborate with plant personnel, office staff, suppliers, and contractors as needed
• Gain hands on experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment

What We're Looking For
