Job summary

SPIROL invites an undergraduate student to join as a Supply Chain Intern for Fall 2026, August–December, on-site in Stow, Ohio. You will work with Purchasing, Planning, and Operations to improve efficiency, inventory control, and customer satisfaction.

You will analyze data, support forecasting and scheduling, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives within a global manufacturing context.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an undergraduate program related to supply chain, operations, logistics, or industrial engineering
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with MS Excel and MS Word to analyze data and present findings

Responsibilities

• Support purchasing, planning, and inventory management activities
• Analyze inventory levels and help maintain optimal stock levels
• Assist with supplier communication, purchase orders, and delivery tracking
• Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives in supply chain and materials management
• Monitor key supply chain metrics and prepare reports for the team
• Assist with forecasting, demand planning, and production scheduling activities
• Help identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy and operational efficiency
• Research suppliers, materials, and cost-saving opportunities
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Customer Service, and Finance to support daily operations
• Gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
