Job summary

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or GED required.
• One year of mechanical experience required.
• Able to read, write and speak English.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical drive systems and components.

Responsibilities

• Set up all automatic, semi-automatic and hand operated machines to meet quality specifications.
• Maintain and repair machinery; notify personnel of major repairs.
• Create and close PM work orders on time after completing PM tasks.
• Perform preventive maintenance as scheduled by planner/Team Leader.
• Instruct operators on proper methods to attain maximum quality and quantity production.
• Assist in training new personnel in all jobs in the department as required.
• Support safety, quality, delivery, cost and talent goals in the shift.
