Job summary

The Pivot Group Network is seeking a Master Scheduler for Walker, MI to manage master production schedules and capacity planning for manufacturers in the region. You will collaborate with sales, purchasing, and shop floor teams to ensure on-time delivery and optimized use of resources.

Responsibilities include maintaining ERP data, coordinating daily planning meetings, and driving schedule adherence across multiple active orders, with a focus on continuous improvement and Lean scheduling

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of capacity planning and lead times.
• Ability to read demand forecasts and translate them into build plans.
• Clear written and verbal communication across production, purchasing, and sales.
• Comfort with spreadsheets and production data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Identify capacity constraints and recommend overtime, shifts, or outsourcing.
• Keep planning data accurate in the ERP system.
• Build and maintain the master production schedule for all active work orders.
• Coordinate with sales and customer service to align demand with available capacity.
• Review material availability with purchasing before releasing the schedule.
• Adjust the schedule when orders change, equipment goes down, or parts arrive late.
• Lead daily or weekly production planning meetings with shop floor supervisors.
• Track schedule adherence and report on-time delivery performance.
