Job summary

Linde Inc. in The Woodlands, TX seeks an Manufacturing Markets Application Manager, Americas to drive growth in LATAM markets and translate global insights into regional opportunities.

You will work with regional teams and customers to deliver process improvements and scalable solutions. The role requires strong technical background in metals processing and heat treatment, plus fluency in English and Spanish, with travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical, metallurgical, materials science, manufacturing engineering, or a related field.
• Equivalent industry experience in heat treatment, tube & pipe, or metals processing.
• Strong operational experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of continuous manufacturing processes, industrial atmospheres, gas applications, quality and throughput.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Manufacturing Markets growth opportunities across LATAM, focusing on Brazil/Argentina.
• Translate global knowledge into actionable opportunities for regional businesses.
• Provide hands-on technical and commercial support at customer sites and trials.
• Support regional roadshows and customer development in heat treatment, welding, and metal fabrication.
• Build relationships with LATAM stakeholders to create a sustained pipeline.
• Serve as local execution partner for LGUS Manufacturing Markets strategy in the Southern US.
• Support growth initiatives in space, defense, tube & pipe, and other industries.
• Capture successful applications and replicate across Americas.

• Develop
  and execute Manufacturing Markets growth opportunities across LATAM,
  initially focusing on Brazil, Argentina and other priority countries
• Translate
  global application knowledge and market trends into actionable customer
  opportunities for the regional businesses
• Provide
  hands‑on technical and commercial support at customer sites, including
  process troubleshooting, opportunity identification, customer trials and
  demonstrations, equipment and application integration, solution
  replication across customers and countries
• Support
  regional roadshows and customer development activities in areas such as
  heat treatment, welding and metal fabrication, tube and pipe manufacturing
• Build
  strong working relationships with White Martins and other LATAM
  stakeholders to create a sustained Manufacturing Markets opportunity
  pipeline
• Serve
  as a local execution partner for the LGUS Manufacturing Markets strategy,
  particularly in the Southern United States
• Support
  LGUS growth initiatives in priority segments such as space, defense, tube
  and pipe, and other expanding manufacturing industries
• Capture
  successful applications and customer cases, then facilitate their
  replication across the Americas
• Connect
  regional opportunities with the appropriate Linde Technology experts, OEMs
  and external partners

What makes you great

• Bachelor's
  or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering,
  Materials Science, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field
• Equivalent
  industry experience in heat treatment, tube & pipe, or metals
  processing will be highly valued
• Strong
  operational experience in an industrial manufacturing environment, ideally
  tube and pipe, metals processing, welding or heat treatment
• Demonstrated
  understanding of continuous manufacturing processes, industrial
  atmospheres, gas applications, product quality and throughput improvement
• Ability
  to walk a customer process, identify operational pain points and translate
  them into commercially viable solutions
• Customer‑facing
  mindset with a combination of technical credibility and business
  development drive
• Fluent
  English and Spanish required; Portuguese would be a strong advantage
• Willingness
  to travel up to 50% across Latin America and the United States
• Ability
  to work across Technology, regional business development teams, sales organizations,
  OEMs and customers

The salary range for this role is: $108,225- $158,730.
