TGRC is proud to be retained by a global leader in semiconductor manufacturing as they expand their operational footprint in the United States. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Manager to lead production operations at a new state-of-the-art facility in South Carolina.
This is a rare opportunity to take a senior operational role within a strategically important clean technology sector, contributing directly to the decarbonization of industries including EVs, renewable energy, data infrastructure, and power electronics.
The Manufacturing Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of production within the U.S. manufacturing facility, ensuring delivery on quality, volume, cost, and safety targets. You will lead a growing team of technical staff and operators, driving best-in-class manufacturing processes and supporting the company’s rapid scale-up plans.
This position requires deep experience in high-precision technical manufacturing, preferably in semiconductors, electronics, or materials science, and a demonstrated ability to lead operations in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.
Manage daily manufacturing operations, ensuring adherence to production schedules, quality specifications, and safety protocols.
Optimize production throughput, yield, and operational efficiency using lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
Lead root cause analyses for production issues and develop corrective action plans.
Build and manage a high-performing manufacturing team, including supervisors, technicians, and production staff.
Develop training programs to maintain technical excellence and regulatory compliance.
Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Work closely with QA/QC teams to uphold internal standards and industry certifications (e.g. ISO, IATF).
Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Implement cleanroom and contamination control procedures appropriate for semiconductor production.
Support facility ramp-up initiatives, equipment commissioning, and process transfer from overseas operations.
Identify and implement manufacturing improvements to support scaling, reduce waste, and increase automation.
Collaborate with R&D and Engineering to integrate new technologies and production methods.
Partner with Supply Chain, Engineering, and Global Operations teams to align production with commercial and strategic goals.
Report on key KPIs, production metrics, and workforce performance to senior leadership.
Represent U.S. operations in global manufacturing forums and corporate planning processes.
We are seeking a results-oriented and technically capable manufacturing leader with a proven track record in complex industrial or clean technology environments.
8+ years of experience in technical manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a management or supervisory capacity.
Background in semiconductors, electronics, materials science, precision engineering, or advanced manufacturing.
Experience managing cleanroom environments, automated production lines, or advanced fabrication techniques.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
Strong understanding of quality systems (e.g., SPC, FMEA, CAPA), lean methodologies, and production metrics.
Authorized to work in the United States.
Experience working in a multinational or cross-cultural business environment.
Knowledge of semiconductor industry standards and certifications.
Familiarity with scaling operations from pilot to full production.
