Job summary

International Paper in Charlotte, NC seeks a Manufacturing Manager to lead the manufacturing team, focusing on safety, productivity, cost control, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, coordination, and competencies that guide the manufacturing team and processes in safety, productivity, housekeeping, customer satisfaction, cost effectiveness, and people systems; promote continuous improvement and reliable methods within manufacturing.
  • Responsible for development and achievement of the manufacturing business plan and overall cost effectiveness of the manufacturing operation.
  • Monitor and direct performance of all manufacturing activities including throughput, cost and waste control, maintenance, quality, inventories control, and meeting budgeted production metrics, while ensuring safety methods are in place.
  • Implement and maintain systems to drive manufacturing improvements.
  • Lead, coach, motivate and engage work teams to accomplish operational objectives.
  • Ensure that all management, manufacturing, maintenance, and human resources systems are current and effectively utilized, and improved where possible.
  • Ensure that all manufacturing processes run in accordance with EPA regulations.
  • Actively involved in the development of employees through training, coaching, and performance review feedback.

Pay Rate:

$118,400 - $157,800

Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range. Variable pay may provide additional opportunities for financial awards. This job is eligible to participate in IP’s annual incentive plan.

The Job You Will Perform:
