The QUIKRETE® Companies, LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Management Trainee - Military Veterans in Los Angeles to join our team and develop future plant leadership through hands-on experience in operations, personnel management, and business processes.

Under the guidance of an experienced Plant Manager, you will participate in a structured training program designed to prepare you for leadership roles within the manufacturing environment, with relocation possible after completion of the program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical degree required.
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
• Proven ability to perform effectively under tight deadlines and strict quality standards.
• Strong communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation abilities.
• Demonstrated leadership capability and strong analytical/problem-solving skills.
• Willingness and ability to relocate upon successful completion of training (18–24 months).

Responsibilities

• Learn and demonstrate the operation and function of all plant equipment within the manufacturing process
• Perform and understand all plant and administrative roles (excluding commercial driving positions)
• Provide operational support by filling in for short-term staffing needs as required
• Prepare, analyze, and interpret operational reports
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and special projects as assigned

Working Conditions

• Exposure to varying weather conditions, including temperature extremes, dust, rain, wind, and snow

• Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including hearing and respiratory protection in designated areas
• Physical requirements include climbing stairs and ladders, ability to lift 80 pounds and performing tasks requiring strength, endurance, and manual dexterity
