The QUIKRETE Companies, LLC is seeking a Manager Trainee for our Danielson, CT facility to develop future plant leadership through a structured training program and hands-on exposure to plant operations.

The role focuses on learning all plant equipment, supporting both operations and administrative tasks, and contributing to continuous improvement while meeting quality standards. Relocation is required for the training period.

Qualifications

• Willingness and ability to relocate upon successful completion of the training program (typically 18-24 months).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical degree required
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred
• Proven ability to perform effectively under tight deadlines and strict quality standards
• Strong communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation abilities
• Demonstrated leadership capability and strong analytical/problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

Job Summary

Working Conditions

• Exposure to varying weather conditions, including temperature extremes, dust, rain, wind, and snow
• Work environment includes exposure to industrial materials such as cement dust, fuels, lubricants, and electrical systems
• Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including hearing and respiratory protection in designated areas
• Physical requirements include climbing stairs and ladders, ability to lift 80 pounds and performing tasks requiring strength, endurance, and manual dexterity
