Job summary

Nor-Am Cold Storage in Cherokee, IA is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, repairs and adjustments on production line equipment including conveyors, case erectors, sealers and scales. You will maintain motors and gearboxes and handle general building maintenance.

Qualifications

Hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
At least 3 years of hands-on maintenance experience.
Experience with PLC highly preferred.

Responsibilities

PM, repair and adjust production line equipment (conveyors, case erectors, sealers, scales).
Maintain, repair and replace motors and gearboxes.
General building maintenance including light electrical.
Occasional repairs on material handling equipment.
Collaborate with production leaders to improve equipment efficiency.
