Job summary

thyssenkrupp is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to install, maintain, and repair industrial equipment across pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems. You will troubleshoot electronically via PLCs and participate in preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize uptime.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, PLC experience (Siemens, Rockwell/Allen-Bradley), and the ability to read blueprints and schematics.

Qualifications

• Detailed prior experience repairing and performing maintenance on manufacturing machinery.
• Troubleshooting electronics 12VDC-460 VAC, hydraulics, pneumatics, motor starters, pumps and PLC controls.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Experience with PLC controllers (Siemens, Rockwell/Allen Bradley).
• Ability to read machine blueprints (2D/3D), electrical schematics.
• Strong customer focus, safety conscious, reliable and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Installs, maintains, and repairs industrial equipment including pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoots issues physically and electronically via PLC or program investigation.
• Performs preventive and predictive maintenance to increase up-time.
• Documents maintenance work in SAP and communicates across shifts.
• Adheres to safety policies and 6S housekeeping standards.
• Works with team and assists in equipment improvement projects.
