Job summary
Dawn Staffing Solutions Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician in Mottville, MI to join the maintenance team.
The role focuses on preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of manufacturing equipment and facility systems during first shift. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing, strong troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic domains, and familiarity with PLC-controlled automation systems.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing.
- Strong troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic domains.
- Experience maintaining motors, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes and automated equipment.
- Experience with PLC-controlled equipment and automation systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facilities.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical systems.
- Diagnose malfunctions and implement solutions to minimize downtime.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
- Assist with installations, upgrades, and process improvement projects.
