Alumacraft Boats Inc. is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician II to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment and facility systems in St. Peter, MN.

This role supports production by addressing down equipment, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, and completing preventive maintenance work orders. The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting skills, can work independently in a manufacturing setting, and has CMMS experience to document repairs and track maintenance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Industrial maintenance, manufacturing maintenance, electromechanical, or related experience.
• Strong reading of electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals.
• Experience using CMMS software for work orders and maintenance documentation.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose equipment failures.

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot and repair production equipment to minimize downtime and restore equipment safely and efficiently.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and controls-related equipment problems.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance according to established schedules and procedures.
• Troubleshoot motors, sensors, switches, relays, contactors, VFDs, pneumatic components, and other industrial equipment.
• Assist with troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment and automated machinery including but not limited to press brakes, routers, and paint booths.
• Perform mechanical repairs and replacements of components including bearings, belts, chains, gearboxes, pumps, and motors.
• Use electrical drawings, schematics, equipment manuals, and diagnostic tools to identify equipment faults.
• Utilize CMMS software to: receive and complete work orders; document troubleshooting and repairs; record labor, parts, and equipment history; complete preventive maintenance work orders; identify recurring failures and maintenance needs.
• Communicate equipment status, repairs, and outstanding issues with production and maintenance leadership teams.
• Identify root causes of recurring equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist with installation, modification, and commissioning of production equipment.
• Maintain an organized maintenance work area and properly manage tools and spare parts.
• Follow applicable safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and safe electrical and mechanical work practices.
