Job summary

AUMOVIO in New Braunfels, TX, seeks a Maintenance Technician I to maintain manufacturing equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot electrical/electronic issues. You will follow procedures, document activities, and work with engineers to improve line efficiency.

The role requires 1+ years in maintenance, strong mechanical ability, and English proficiency; shift is 4 on/4 off, 8:00am–6:30pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ years of maintenance or production experience at AUMOVIO.
• Excellent mechanical ability is essential.
• 1+ years experience with machines, pneumatics, hydraulics, gears and bearings.
• Mathematical skills and ability to compute ratios and percentages.
• PC skills including Word/Excel and email familiarity.
• English reading/writing/speaking required.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance tasks such as greasing, oiling, grinding and assembling components.
• Follow maintenance procedures and document drawings and files; work with hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Operate, set and adjust machinery; assist engineering with line moves and installations.
• Troubleshoot electrical/electronic issues and read schematics.
• Support goals for Defects Per Million, OEE and scrap reduction.
• Complete work orders and maintain parts inventory records.
