Job summary

Crown Bakeries is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine and preventative maintenance across plant equipment and facilities in a fast-paced food production setting.

You will diagnose, repair, and test mechanical and electrical systems, while documenting activities in the CMMS and coordinating with the maintenance team to minimize downtime and ensure safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• Strong industrial electrical experience required.
• Minimum of High School Diploma and 2+ years of Industrial Maintenance experience repairing and troubleshooting pneumatics, hydraulics, Conveyers, 3 p-phase motors, variable speed drivers and controls.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment, machinery, and facilities.
• Follow maintenance schedules and ensure tasks are completed on time to minimize equipment downtime.
• Identify and report potential maintenance issues before they become problems.
• Diagnosis and repair of faulty equipment, machinery, or systems.
• Disassemble, inspect, and reassemble machinery and systems to identify issues or required repairs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Install and setup of new equipment or machinery as part of company projects.
• Coordinate and test newly installed equipment to ensure it operates correctly.
• Maintain and ensure that maintenance tools and equipment are kept in good working condition.
• Follow company safety protocols and industry regulations to ensure safe working conditions.
• Log and record maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and parts used.

JOB SUMMARY:A Maintenance Technician reports directly to maintenance supervision and works closely with other maintenance team members to ensure the reliability of the plant's equipment. A Maintenance Technician possesses the necessary skills to repair and maintaining equipment, machinery, and facilities.
