Currently recruiting for a Tier 1 Automotive company located in Michigan. This company is a leading automotive systems and component manufacturer. This is a great opportunity for a Maintenance Technician. The company offers a very competitive compensation package with added incentives.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on manufacturing equipment. The Maintenance Technician plays a key role in the company’s success.

Responsibilities:

1. Maintaining, adjusting, and repairing manufacturing equipment in a timely manner.
2. Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic issues; inspecting, repairing, and adjusting trim fixtures, assembly fixtures, support equipment; performing lock out/tag out procedures.
3. Performing preventive maintenance as assigned promptly.
4. Acting as a spokesperson for Health & Safety initiatives.
5. Serving as a Hands-on First Aid Representative and reporting all injuries according to company policies.

Qualifications:

1. 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience in the automotive industry (preferred).
2. Expertise in electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
3. Understanding of injection and blow molding machinery.
4. Excellent troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and repair skills.
5. Knowledge of parametric and industrial control systems.
6. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations.
