Job description

Freedom Corrugated Maintenance Technician

We are looking for an Industrial Maintenance Technician to undertake the responsibility of maintaining corrugated machines and other equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly by observing all health and safety guidelines.

Experience is preferred; however, recent trade school or high school graduates with minimal experience are encouraged to apply. This is a career position, and the employer is willing to train and develop the right candidate. Requirements:

• Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
• Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Experience troubleshooting PLCs and motors
• Working knowledge of industrial computers, including hardware and software configuration and troubleshooting
• Network configuration and troubleshooting skills
• Reliable self-starter with at least 5 years of experience
• Flexibility to work 2nd or 3rd shift, weekends, and overtime as needed

Skills:

• Proven experience as a maintenance technician
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and other systems
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
• Familiarity with tools and common appliances
• Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus

Job Details:

• Type: Full-time
• Pay: $29.00 - $36.00 per hour (based on skill level)
• Benefits include 401(k), dental and health insurance, life insurance, paid time off, and more
• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, including 2nd (2pm-10pm) and 3rd (10pm-6am) shifts, with overtime and weekend work as needed
