Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSkillforce is seeking skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technicians in Dover, DE. This is for a corrugated manufacturing company. Temp to perm, or direct hire potential. Relocation and housing available! Also open to travelers on a short-term contract basis in the interim.

This position is crucial to our team, supporting production by performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure all machinery operates efficiently and reliably.

Mechanical Maintenance Tech Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain converting and corrugating equipment to reduce downtime and ensure continuous operation.
• Consistently adhere to safe work practices and safety protocols.
• Accurately align rolls and perform all necessary settings and adjustments to optimize equipment performance and ensure the production of high-quality products.
• Provide training and guidance to other maintenance personnel on qualification standards and correct maintenance procedures.
• Troubleshoot and repair A/C and D/C drive systems and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
• Efficiently utilize all features of the maintenance management software system.
• Conduct follow-up inspections to verify that repairs and maintenance tasks are completed correctly and effectively.
• Maximize equipment uptime by ensuring machinery operates at optimal capacity and speed through proper maintenance.
• Accurately complete all required documentation in a clear, organized manner in accordance with company policies.
• Take a proactive approach to equipment maintenance and follow the scheduled maintenance plan.
• Demonstrate flexibility by working all required shifts and overtime as needed.
• Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Mechanical Maintenance Tech Requirements:

• 3+ years of Mechanical Automation System Installation & Troubleshooting experience.
• Previous experience with BOBST and BHS
• Previous experience with Macarbox ().
• Prior work experience in corrugated manufacturing.
• A basic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Location: Dover, DE

Pay:

• $33-$42 per hour

Shift: Multiple shifts available.

• Overtime and weekend work as needed.
