Job summary

Formlabs in Perrysburg, OH is seeking a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to support maintenance, repair and service calls across our facility. You will develop skills in troubleshooting, component replacement, and preventive maintenance to keep our equipment and buildings running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preventive maintenance tasks for buildings and equipment.
• Develop troubleshooting and repair skills for equipment.
• Assist in component replacement.
• Maintain inventory of parts accurately.
• Operate equipment, vehicles, and aerial lifts safely.
• Perform routine building maintenance: painting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC maintenance.
• Complete administrative duties and report maintenance statuses to supervisor.
• Comply with safety regulations and document repairs.
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls.
• Coordinate with contracted vendors.
• Document repair work, parts purchasing and usage.
• Follow department and company policies.
• Physical demands include standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, bending and kneeling.

A detailed breakdown of the different responsibilities associated with this position is defined below.**Key Tasks and Responsibilities*** Assist in performing various preventive maintenance tasks and procedures concerning buildings and equipment.* Develop skills for troubleshooting and repair of equipment.* Assist in performing component replacement.* Maintain an accurate and organized inventory of parts.* Operate equipment, vehicles, powered industrial trucks, and aerial lifts safely.* Perform routine building maintenance duties, including painting, minor electrical repairs, plumbing, carpentry, and heating and ventilation systems maintenance.* Clean the interior of the building, as well as machinery and equipment, and exterior of the building* Complete administrative duties, such as filling out forms and reporting maintenance statuses to supervisor.* Comply with all safety and health regulations.* Keep inventory of maintenance and cleaning supplies and equipment, and report needs to supervisor.* Respond to emergency calls for maintenance and repairs.* Diagnose and troubleshoot issues.* Work with and maintain relationships with contracted vendors.* Properly complete all repair, labor, parts purchasing and usage documentation in a timely fashion.* Comply with all department and company policies and procedures.* Physical demands include, but are not limited to, high aptitude for standing and walking endurance, lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, pushing and pulling climbing ladders of various types, bending, squatting, and kneeling, and working in different temperatures inside and outside.**Core Competencies*** Excellent verbal and written communication skills.* Solid problem-solving abilities.* Self-motivated with the ability to work on an independent basis.* Strong organizational and time management skills.* Strong mechanical skills.**What We Offer*** Medical/dental/vision insurance* 3% 401k match* Company-provided lunch 3 days a week* Unlimited access to 3d printing**Education and Training*** High School degree.**Preferred Education*** Bachelor's degree**Compensation**At Formlabs, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range.
