Job summary

Rust Belt Recruiting is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for Austintown, OH. This role covers 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) Monday-Friday and 3rd shift (11pm-8am).

You will oversee equipment upkeep, inspect and service manufacturing machinery, and ensure the facility remains safe and operational at all times. You should bring 3–4 years of mechanical maintenance experience in manufacturing, basic electrical wiring skills, and a mechanical mindset; PLC experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years mechanical maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Basic electrical wiring capabilities and understanding.
• PLC experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical repairs to manufacturing equipment
• Manage routine maintenance and emergency repairs
• Install new equipment
• Clean, adjust, repair, and replace components of manufacturing equipment
• Operate overhead or mobile equipment as needed for repairs
