Job summary

Emerald Packaging, Inc. in Santa Ana, CA is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support our new Santa Ana operation.

This role focuses on electrical and mechanical maintenance of packaging equipment in a fast-paced, four-day work week, 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with a starting pay of $35.00 per hour. Ideal candidates have strong AC/DC theory knowledge, experience with PLCs (Allen Bradley, IIS, XDC), read schematics, and understand temperature controllers, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on packaging equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on production lines.
• Read and modify schematics as needed to restore equipment function.
• Maintain safe and efficient operation during the 6:00 AM–4:00 PM shift.

Emerald Packaging is expanding—and we are looking for an experienced Maintenance Tech to join our new Santa Ana operation!

ELECTRICAL KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong understanding of AC/DC theory
• Fully versed in the use of a DMM
• Knows PLC's, particularly Allen Bradley, IIS and XDC
• Understand how to read Schematics and modify if necessary
• Understand temperature controllers and feedback devices (TC, RTD, J type, etc.)

MECHANICAL KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

• Working knowledge of idlers, bearings and gear boxes
• Working knowledge of diaphragm pumps
• Ability to do metal fabrication
• General machine rebuilding
• Working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems

This position requires a minimum of 3 years + of relevant experience

Work Schedule

Schedule:Four Day, Monday - Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Compensation

• $35.00 per hour
