Job summary

Sika Corporation in Sealy, TX is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance staff and support manufacturing operations. The role reports to the Maintenance Manager and focuses on safe, efficient operation of production equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating maintenance teams in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong organizational skills with good record keeping.
• Basic knowledge of Windows Application Software.

Responsibilities

• Supervise shift maintenance staff including coaching, training, evaluation and disciplinary actions.
• Manage payroll for maintenance employees.
• Assist in managing outside contractors.
• Ensure efficient operation of production machinery.
• Coordinate all maintenance projects.
• General facility maintenance responsibilities.
• Lubrication / oil changes of heavy machinery.
• Repair or replace bearings, gear-heads, belts, chains, conveyors, filters.
