Job summary

KOCH Foods in Montgomery, AL is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a poultry manufacturing maintenance team. You will supervise daily and short-term maintenance goals, assign work orders, and ensure repairs are completed safely and efficiently.

You will mentor technicians, provide performance feedback, and manage required paperwork, while upholding safety standards and continuous improvement in a fast-paced facility.

Qualifications

• 3+ years supervisory experience within a manufacturing maintenance environment.
• 5+ years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment; poultry facility preferred.
• Excellent leadership with ability to provide positive reinforcement.

Responsibilities

• Supervise immediate and short-term maintenance goals.
• Assign work orders and ensure completion of repairs.
• Perform lock out/tag out certifications on equipment.
• Recognize and reward Technicians, while counseling performance issues.
• Perform safety checks.
• Provide mentorship, motivation, training and professional development, helping your team to optimize their performance and growth.
• Assign work orders, and follow up ensuring completion.
• Manage and oversee required paperwork.
• All other relevant duties to the job.
