Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience in manufacturing or packaging.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
• Project management experience preferred.
• Ability to work off shift and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all aspects of the CMMS in a manufacturing environment.
• Develop, maintain and improve the preventive maintenance program for mechanical and electrical systems.
• Plan and execute maintenance goals within the CMMS and lead equipment revitalization projects.
• Develop training for maintenance staff and electricians in CMMS tooling.
• Manage parts pricing, inventory and budgets with vendors.
• Coordinate with Maintenance and Operations on schedules and parts availability.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts to reduce downtime and improve line efficiency.
• Conduct safety trainings and enforce safety procedures.

• As a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler at our Bread Plant, you will be responsible for developing and coordinating detailed maintenance plans to ensure our equipment operates at optimal performance. Your role will involve scheduling preventative maintenance, prioritizing repair tasks, and collaborating with the maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime and disruptions. You'll manage maintenance records, track work orders, and ensure that all activities comply with safety and operational standards. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining the efficiency and reliability of our production processes, contributing directly to Safeway reputation for quality.

Main Responsibilities

• Supervise all aspects of the CMMS in a manufacturing environment.
• Developing, maintaining, and continuously improving the preventive maintenance program. - Responsible for the mechanical and electrical maintenance and upkeep of the equipment and systems.
• Plan and execute mechanical and electrical Best Practice goals within the CMMS environment. Develop and execute plant equipment revitalization projects.
• Development of instrumental training for the manufacturing plant mechanics and electricians within the CMMS environment.
• Supervise and control maintenance parts pricing with vendors, inventory & expense budgets.
• Partner with Maintenance and Operations Departments on the development of maintenance schedules ensuring availability of necessary parts, etc.
• Execute continuous improvements events to drive out loss and increase line e ffi ciencies. Active participant in all required meetings.
• Perform work order quality audits to improve mechanical e ffi ciencies of the team and recommending any disciplinary action as necessary.
• Perform safety training and enforce safety procedures for production personnel. Maintain safe working environment for all employees.

Requirements

• 5+ years of related experience in a high output manufacturing or packaging facility is preferred.
• Strong inter-personal and leadership skills is required.
• Computerized Maintenance Management System expertise is a must. Currently utilizing EAM.
• Project management and capital project management experience is preferred.
• Must be able to work off shift and weekends
