Job summary

Peerless-AV® is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to support the upkeep of manufacturing equipment, facility, and material handling systems. This role performs preventive maintenance and Troubleshoots electrical and mechanical issues to ensure safe and efficient operations on the production floor.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent technical training.
• Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints.
• Good communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on all production equipment and facility systems.
• Maintain and repair machinery including punch presses, brake presses, and hydraulic/mechanical presses.
• Service forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems (120V, 220V, 440V; single & three-phase).
• Read and interpret machine schematics and building blueprints.
• Perform general facility maintenance including light carpentry and plumbing.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives with manufacturing and engineering teams.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
