Westmag is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead and scale the maintenance function for its new South San Francisco facility and automated lines. You will own preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategy, build a team of technicians, and partner with production and engineering to maximize uptime and equipment reliability.

Formación

• GED, high school diploma, or higher.
• 7+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing/industrial settings, incl. 3+ years supervising technicians.
• Hands-on ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and PLC-controlled systems.
• Experience building/running a preventive maintenance program and using a CMMS for work orders and PM scheduling.
• Knowledge of 120V/240V/480V electrical systems and reading schematics/diagrams.
• Strong knowledge of lockout/tagout and electrical safety requirements.
• Experience managing spare parts, vendors and service contractors.
• Ability to track maintenance KPIs and present them to leadership.
• Clear written and verbal communication and ability to train a team.
• Authorized to work in the United States; valid CA driver's license.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background and drug screening.

Responsabilidades

• Build and lead the maintenance function, including hiring, training, scheduling, and developing technicians.
• Own preventive and predictive maintenance programs for production and facility equipment.
• Lead response to breakdowns and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime.
• Drive root-cause analysis on recurring failures and implement corrective actions.
• Set up and manage the CMMS: work orders, PM schedules, asset records, parts usage.
• Track and report maintenance KPIs (uptime, MTBF, MTTR, PM compliance, costs).
• Manage spare parts inventory and relationships with vendors/service contractors.
• Own the maintenance budget and advise on repair-versus-replace decisions.
• Partner with production engineering on installation, commissioning, and handoff of new equipment.
• Ensure compliance with Cal/OSHA and safety procedures; maintain facility infrastructure.
