Job summary

Apple Valley Foods US, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance team and drive reliability of manufacturing equipment and facilities. You will develop strategy, manage a skilled team, and optimize maintenance plans to minimize downtime.

Responsibilities include safety compliance, CMMS-driven maintenance, and reporting to senior management on KPIs and costs. This role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge, and a focus on continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing equipment and systems.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Proficiency in CMMS systems and preventive maintenance planning.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements a comprehensive maintenance strategy for equipment and facilities.
• Leads and manages a team of maintenance technicians, including hiring, training, and evaluations.
• Coordinates preventive and corrective maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
• Identifies process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Maintains records of maintenance activities, equipment histories, and schedules.
• Develops emergency maintenance plans to respond to failures and minimize production disruption.
• Provides regular reports to senior management on KPIs, department performance, and costs.
• Ensures safety and food-safety by following company, OSHA, and government rules and procedures.
