Job summary

GardenCore is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to run manual and automated equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will assist with setup, perform preventive maintenance, monitor quality, and help maintain a clean, safe work area to meet daily production goals.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of related trades experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a strong safety mindset, including lock-out/tag-out principles.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related experience in trades specific to job requirements, or equivalent.
• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Working knowledge of safety principles, such as lock-out/tag-out.

Responsibilities

• Observe equipment operation and components to detect machine malfunction.
• Operate equipment to optimum efficiency to meet quality, cost and operational requirements.
• Notify management of production, safety, quality or environmental concerns.
• Understand bagging specifications to meet quality standards.
• Daily cleanup of production work area and accurate daily production forms.
• Perform routine maintenance including lubricating, fueling, and cleaning equipment.
