Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Transportation and Chemical Management Supervisor in Palmdale to oversee crane and forklift operators, chemical attendants, and drivers. You will coordinate daily logistics, enforce safety and environmental policies, allocate resources, and resolve production-impacting issues.

Authority to train staff and interface with Labor Relations and HR supports workforce engagement. You will engage with cross-functional teams to enhance transport processes and ensure mission

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining compliance documentation and incident/audit prep.
• Secret clearance required.
• At least 2 years of proven leadership or supervisory experience in logistics, material handling, or transportation.
• Proficient with email and MS Office; basic data-entry or reporting tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with operators, drivers, and senior management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee crane operators, forklift operators, chemical attendants, and drivers to ensure safe material movement and timely production support.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily transportation and logistics operations across departments.
• Provide training on equipment use and chemical handling procedures; enforce safety and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply-chain teams to improve transportation processes and support mission readiness.
