Job summary

Confidential is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize transportation, warehousing, inventory control, and distribution in a multi-shift manufacturing setting. You will lead a team, implement strategies to cut costs, and ensure timely movement of raw materials and finished goods while supporting overall operational excellence.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 5 years of logistics experience, including leadership of warehouse teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or distribution operations.
• Experience managing employees and leading logistics or warehouse teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily logistics, transportation, warehousing, inventory control, and distribution operations.
• Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance supply chain performance.
• Manage inbound and outbound freight activities, including carrier selection, freight coordination, and transportation planning.
• Monitor inventory levels and partner with production and purchasing teams to ensure material availability.
• Ensure timely delivery of finished products while meeting customer requirements and service expectations.
• Analyze logistics performance metrics, including transportation costs, inventory accuracy, delivery performance, and operational efficiency.
• Develop and maintain logistics reports, dashboards, and KPIs.
• Lead, train, coach, and develop warehouse and logistics personnel.
• Manage relationships with transportation carriers, freight brokers, suppliers, and third-party logistics providers.
