Job summary

Tempur Sealy is seeking a Shipping Loader to join our distribution team in Washington. The role involves verifying load tags, organizing items in the trailer, and ensuring accurate loading per the shipping order.

You may assist with palletizer operations for Costco products and must maintain a clean, safe work area with strict safety practices. The position requires lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for long shifts, and a willingness to work overtime and occasional Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Verify tags to match the load number and that the tag is scanned.
• Organize load within the trailer according to the order of stops.
• Review the shipping order to ensure all items have been loaded.
• Assist with operating or loading the palletizer for Costco products.
• Must be able to perform each essential job function.
• Cleans work area and follows proper safety procedures.
• Sweeps floors as needed.

Shipping Loader Position $23.60 per hour

What You’ll Need:

• Be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a standing position for a minimum 8 hours or more per shift.
• Frequent walking, squatting, turning, twisting, pushing, bending, etc. in a fast paced, high volume manufacturing environment.
• Excellent attendance—must be reliable and punctual.
• Must be willing to work overtime and occasional Saturdays.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
