Job summary

Bodycote plc in Camas, WA is seeking a disciplined team member for a 4th shift role in a heavy industrial environment. You will load/unload customer parts, maintain safety, and report issues to supervision, ensuring accurate handling of inventory. The job requires attention to detail and multi-tasking, with overtime or weekend work as needed.

ITAR compliance is required for U.S. citizens or permanent residents, and forklift/crane experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• ITAR compliance requires U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents.
• Overtime or weekend shifts may be required.
• Must obtain forklift operator certification.
• 1 year manufacturing experience preferred.
• Crane and forklift experience preferred.
• Work 4th shift Fri–Sun 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently and carefully place customer parts onto, into or out of baskets, tubs, racks or other containers as required.
• Immediately reports any unusual problem, irregularity or concern to HIP Operator, Supervisor or management.
• Promotes safety and good housekeeping.
• Be aware of environmental concerns caused by process and report deficiencies to Supervisor.
• Performs other tasks as assigned or dictated by position.
• Care and treatment of customer inventory and perform duties safely to prevent loss or damage.
• Must be able to report for work on time, follow directions, interact with co-workers, follow rules and accept feedback.

Summary

Performs essential job functions as directed under close supervision.

Essential Job Functions (Duties and Responsibilities)

• Efficiently and carefully place customer parts onto, into or out of baskets, tubs, racks or other containers as required.
• Immediately brings any unusual problem, irregularity or concern to HIP Operator, Supervisor or management.
• Practices and promotes safety and good housekeeping.
• Must be aware of environment concerns caused by process and report deficiencies to Supervisor
• Performs other tasks as assigned or dictated by position.
• This position is responsible for the care and treatment of our customer’s inventory and as such will perform duties in a safe and responsible manner to prevent customer loss or damage.
• Must have the ability to report for work on time, follow directions, interact effectively with co-workers, understand and follow rules and procedures and accept constructive criticism

Qualifications

• This position must satisfy ITAR compliance requirements, therefore candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Resident Card Holder.
• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• May be required to work overtime or any shifts, including weekends.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain forklift operator certification.
• Must have attention to detail.
• Must be able to muti-task.
• 1 year manufacturing experience preferred.
• Crane and Forklift experience preferred.
• Must be able to work 4th shift Weekend; Friday, Saturday, Sunday 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM.

Physical & Mental Demands

• Must be able to work in a standing position for extended periods of time in an industrial environment
• Manual dexterity to perform data entry functions
• Ability to bend, pull, stoop and reach to perform functions
• Ability to lift up to 35/lbs.
• May be exposed to heat, fumes, noise, and humidity, etc.
• Must have the cognitive and mental capacity to perform essential job functions
• Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing
• Visual acuity to read documents, computer screens, files, etc.
• Ability to hear in person and via phone screens, files, etc.

Pay & Benefits Information

The hourly pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00 per hour. Starting pay is determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications. This position is classified as non-exempt and is eligible for overtime pay in accordance with state and federal law.

This role is eligible for additional compensation, including shift differential, etc., if applicable.
