Summary

Performs essential job functions as directed under close supervision.

Essential Job Functions (Duties and Responsibilities)
  • Efficiently and carefully place customer parts onto, into or out of baskets, tubs, racks or other containers as required.
  • Immediately brings any unusual problem, irregularity or concern to HIP Operator, Supervisor or management.
  • Practices and promotes safety and good housekeeping.
  • Must be aware of environment concerns caused by process and report deficiencies to Supervisor
  • Performs other tasks as assigned or dictated by position.
  • This position is responsible for the care and treatment of our customer’s inventory and as such will perform duties in a safe and responsible manner to prevent customer loss or damage.
  • Must have the ability to report for work on time, follow directions, interact effectively with co‑workers, understand and follow rules and procedures and accept constructive criticism
Qualifications
  • This position must satisfy ITAR compliance requirements, therefore candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Resident Card Holder.
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
  • May be required to work overtime or any shifts, including weekends.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain forklift operator certification.
  • Must have attention to detail.
  • Must be able to muti-task.
  • 1 year manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Crane and Forklift experience preferred.
  • Must be able to work 3rd shift; Sunday night – Friday morning, 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM.
Physical & Mental Demands
  • Must be able to work in a standing position for extended periods of time in an industrial environment
  • Manual dexterity to perform data entry functions
  • Ability to bend, pull, stoop and reach to perform functions
  • Ability to lift up to 35/lbs.
  • May be exposed to heat, fumes, noise, and humidity, etc.
  • Must have the cognitive and mental capacity to perform essential job functions
  • Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing
  • Visual acuity to read documents, computer screens, files, etc.
  • Ability to hear in person and via phone
Pay & Benefits Information

The hourly pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00 per hour. Starting pay is determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications. This position is classified as non-exempt and is eligible for overtime pay in accordance with state and federal law.

This role is eligible for additional compensation, including shift differential, etc., if applicable. Benefits include employee and family medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage; company paid life and disability; HSA/FSA options; 401(k) with company match; paid time off and paid holidays; and an Employee Assistance Program. Benefits eligibility begins on day 61 of employment.

This position is eligible for a $1,500 sign-on retention bonus!
