Jabil is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Line Lead to organize line workload and staffing for assembly operations at our Florence, KY locations. You will coordinate with the Assembly Line Supervisor, monitor workmanship standards, and drive continuous improvement across daily production activities.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma, 3+ years in manufacturing, and at least 1 year in a supervisory role.

Competenze

• High School Diploma required; Associate degree preferred.
• At least 3 years in manufacturing environment.
• At least 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with line planning and CIQ system knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to guide and support daily production activities.

Job Description

Jabil is growing and we are seeking experienced Manufacturing Line Leads to work in one of our locations in Florence, Kentucky.

How will you make an impact? As the Manufacturing Line Lead with Jabil, you will organize the workload for the line, as well as staffing for assembly operations depending on product priority.

What will you do?

• Coordinates with Assembly Line Supervisor and organizes line workload and staffing depending on product priority.
• Ensures work meets or exceeds Jabil workmanship standards and monitors the CIQ system closely in order to fix repetitive and recognized problems immediately.
• Minimize changeover times through organized and well-planned changeovers.
• Minimizes excess material on floor; ensure proper stockage and availability of operation supplies and equipment.
• Verifies that only accurate, current, and authorized documentation is available on the line.
• Informs or instructs employees of any deviations or changes.
• Notifies Manufacturing Supervisor immediately regarding all employee problems, concerns and recommendations.
• Strives for continuous improvement in all areas of responsibility.
• Ensures line personnel are thoroughly trained, certified and are performing their assigned functions.
• Motivates and challenges all line members to perform to their full potential through direct and timely formal and informal feedback.
• Tracks production and ensure all deadlines and schedules are met.
• Reviews all relevant policies and procedures issued to the line and ensure that appropriate employees read, understand, and adhere to them.
• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

How will you get here?

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma Required, Associates Degree preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• At least 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
• Has developed expertise in the function through a combination of job-related training and work experience.
• Completes tasks in a resourceful manner using specialized skills.
• Works on assignments of a non-routine nature and determines methods and procedures for newly introduced assignments.
• May provide guidance to team members and support daily production activities.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months at Jabil and in S03 position for a min of 6 months, before being eligible for promotion to S04.
• Demonstrated knowledge of production processes and the ability to support daily operations.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Advanced PC skills, including training.
