Job summary

Pratt is seeking a Lead Machine Operator to train and supervise production crews, ensuring on-time execution and safe operations. You will oversee tool availability, coordinate with maintenance, and drive continuous improvement in efficiency and morale.

The role requires 1–3 years of machine operator experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to read safety instructions and communicate effectively with the team. This is a full-time, on-site position at our Georgia facility.

Qualifications

• One to three years minimum Machine Operator experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with teams.

Responsibilities

• Train and cross-train crews on machines and ensure tools/materials are available.
• Oversee crews to ensure reliability, timeliness, and teamwork.
• Maintain morale and address crew questions and problems.
• Coordinate with supervisors on repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Operate machines when needed and support safety and housekeeping policies.
