Job summary

Sunbelt Solomon is seeking a Lead to oversee an assigned manufacturing area in Temple, TX. You will support the supervisor with training, safety adherence, and achieving production targets while maintaining quality and compliance with company policies.

You will enforce safety guidelines, conduct audits, coach staff, and identify process improvements to optimize efficiency and output. A strong safety track record is required and OSHA10 is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of transformer and manufacturing experience required.
• HS Diploma/GED preferred.
• OSHA10 certification preferred.
• A proven track record in safety excellence is required.
• Ability to interpret work orders and ensure the team has what they need to be set up for success.

Responsibilities

• Lead an assigned manufacturing area and assist the supervisor with employee training and safety adherence.
• Enforce safety guidelines and ensure environmental compliance by employees.
• Ensure the department runs efficiently within productivity, labor and raw materials standards.
• Complete department audits and ensure safety training is completed and upheld.
• Coach and train employees to improve performance and acknowledge improvements.
• Recommend staffing adjustments including hours, shifts, and overtime to meet objectives.
• Oversee a clean work environment and monitor department issues.
• Identify and implement process improvements within the department.
• Communicate department needs to the supervisor to ensure resources meet production targets.
• Adhere to company policies and ensure compliance training is completed.
