Johnson & Johnson MedTech, a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Lead to join the Ottava production team.

Manufacturing Lead is a frontline production leader responsible for driving production excellence, coordinating daily activities, and mentoring technicians. This role reports into the Surgical Robotics (OTTAVA™) Manufacturing organization.

Qualifications

• Experience as Manufacturing Technician in medical device or complex electromechanical capital equipment.
• Hands-on GDP knowledge and strong troubleshooting skills.
• Proven leadership in coordinating production and mentoring staff.
• Proficiency in SAP and MES/ERP systems.
• Familiar with ESD principles and safety/compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production floor activities to meet safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets.
• Assign priorities based on production needs and resources.
• Mentor technicians and provide hands-on troubleshooting support.
• Communicate status in daily performance meetings and cross-functional discussions.
• Ensure adherence to procedures, safety standards, and training requirements.
• Maintain proficiency across subsystems and support root-cause analysis.
